The Devil is in the Detail Project

This project was all about designing and working as much like a real world situation, we was given a client with existing plans and some requirements on how they want their home redesigned, my task was to do this whilst creating a work schedule, letters of appointment, proposed draft budget etc.

Mood Boards

As Beth is a young hard-working professional in the doctor industry, she wants to relax when she gets the chance to be home, we will use a darker mood throughout the refurbishment, whilst also using a modern, trendy style. My main theme when designing was tranquil.

Proposed plans

This was the final chosen prospered floor plans, quite a large change, removal of the spare room to give more kitchen space and a larger room for the client as she lives alone. As she mentions she likes to have friends round the kitchen and living areas had to be able to support this, whilst separating public and private spaces.
